Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between LC Dufrain (ranked 24841 p4p, 247 weight class) and Ricardo Vontreal (ranked 4011 p4p, 155 weight class). Vontreal has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! LC Dufrain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vontreal throws a right hand that misses
letting Dufrain counter with a right hand.
Vontreal looks winded!
Dufrain uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Vontreal.
A clash of legs there as Vontreal blocks the low kick.
Dufrain throws a low kick but Vontreal avoids it.
Dufrain wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Dufrain throws a push kick but Vontreal slaps the foot to one side.
Dufrain scores with a hook.
Dufrain throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dufrain misses with a looping right.
Dufrain takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Dufrain is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Dufrain uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Vontreal takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dufrain shoots in looking for a takedown but Vontreal manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dufrain's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Dufrain moves in looking to clinch but Vontreal pushes him off.
We've been told by Dufrain's head coaches at PhoQus Sports Incorporated that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A jab lands there for Dufrain.

Dufrain cracks a nice hook into Vontreal's ribs.
Vontreal is still on wobbly legs! Can Dufrain finish him?
Dufrain is pawing at Vontreal, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Vontreal's nose. Vontreal is badly hurt! Dufrain pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Vontreal tries desperately to hold on but Dufrain is relentless in his assault! As Vontreal receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Dufrain away and this one is in the books!
