Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jimmy Bradford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruce Allen!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen looks for a takedown but Bradford sprawls well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Allen is nestled in close to Bradford, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Allen postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Allen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bradford is breathing heavily.
Allen trying to control the position from guard on top but Bradford is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Allen lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Allen stands and steps away. Bradford gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Bradford is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Allen.
Bradford buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

and Allen counters with a takedown into side control.
Allen misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bradford on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bradford tries to get out of the position.

Allen creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Allen has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Allen works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Allen in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Bradford knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Allen on the ground.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Allen lands a few punches from side control.
Allen scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bradford to see if he's OK.
Allen lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Bradford down.
Allen wants to control but Bradford is keeping him busy.

Allen is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Bradford is trying to escape and Allen transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Bradford is forced to tap! Nice work there by Allen! Very nice indeed!
