Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Deklek Sitsongrit (ranked 1169 p4p, 143 weight class) and Steph Curry (ranked 723 p4p, 84 weight class). Curry has chosen Metallica - Enter Sandman as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curry tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sitsongrit manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Deklek Sitsongrit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sitsongrit throws a right and a left that Curry avoids nicely.

Sitsongrit has taken the fight to the clinch.
Sitsongrit wants to get back to striking at distance but Curry won't allow it.

Sitsongrit scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Curry tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sitsongrit was well out of range. Poor timing from Curry.

Curry is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sitsongrit.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sitsongrit shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Curry is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sitsongrit defends it well.
Sitsongrit on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sitsongrit tries to get out of the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Curry wants to free his trapped foot but Sitsongrit is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Sitsongrit pushes Curry off looking to stand but Curry dives back in and keeps control.
Curry is looking to take a break and control but Sitsongrit is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Curry is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Curry is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Curry decides to stand and escape the position.

Sitsongrit lands a big head kick that sends Curry tumbling to the mat! Sitsongrit takes a step backwards and waves Curry back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Steph Curry has been cut.

Curry has Sitsongrit up against the cage in a clinch.
Sitsongrit is trying to break the clinch but Curry has him pressed against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Sitsongrit.

I was talking to Sitsongrit's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Sitsongrit throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Sitsongrit digs a right hand into Curry's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Curry's gas tank.

Sitsongrit lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Sitsongrit tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Sitsongrit gets through Curry's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Sitsongrit throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sitsongrit lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Curry walks straight into a right hand from Sitsongrit - that's dropped him! Sitsongrit jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Curry from any more punishment! Curry complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
