Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Jazz (ranked 24825 p4p, 238 weight class) and JB Penn (ranked 3740 p4p, 144 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hugh Jazz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JB Penn!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jazz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jazz is looking to work some ground and pound but Penn has wrist control.
Jazz throws a strike but Penn rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Penn gets to his feet and stands over Jazz, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Jazz felt that one! Penn unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Jazz from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). JB Penn!
