Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Weaton (ranked 24845 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Mckenzie (ranked 5401 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mckenzie shoots for a takedown but Weaton saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Mckenzie clinches up with Weaton and pushes him back against the cage.
Mckenzie is looking to break free of the clinch but Weaton has double underhooks.
Mckenzie can't break the clinch.

Weaton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Weaton scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
A looping hook to the body misses from Mckenzie. Weaton does a little dance to reset his feet.
It looked like Weaton wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Weaton lands a left and a right that send Mckenzie crashing to the mat, dazed. Weaton thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Horrible takedown attempt by Mckenzie or perhaps it was just good defense by Weaton, which made it look bad.
