Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nemesor Imotekh (ranked 1021 p4p, 163 weight class) and Ludvig Ericsson (ranked 1854 p4p, 281 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nemesor Imotekh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ludvig Ericsson!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ericsson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Imotekh can pounce on him.

Ericsson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Imotekh napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Imotekh sneaks back into half guard.

Ericsson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Imotekh knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ericsson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Imotekh with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Imotekh has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Ericsson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Imotekh controls the pace.
Imotekh has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Ericsson wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Imotekh passes Ericsson's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Ericsson is staying active underneath Imotekh, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Ericsson feints and as Imotekh raises his hands in defense, Ericsson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Ludvig Ericsson dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Excellent takedown into side control there by Ericsson.
Ericsson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
A lull in the action here as Ericsson stalls from top position.

You can see the frustration on Imotekh's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Ericsson is looking to take a break and control but Imotekh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ericsson controls the position.
Ericsson lands a nice forearm strike.

Imotekh parries the strikes from Ericsson easily there. Ericsson is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Imotekh to escape.

Ericsson is putting a hurting on Imotekh here, landing some big shots from side control.
The referee asks Ericsson politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ericsson prefers to stall for the moment though.

It looks like Nemesor Imotekh has been cut.
Imotekh tries to lock up and control but Ericsson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Imotekh is in a horrible position here. Ericsson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Nemesor Imotekh's cut is getting worse.

Oh Imotekh is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ericsson is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Imotekh goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Ericsson!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ludvig Ericsson!
