Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Riverson (ranked 2977 p4p, 144 weight class) and Baron Brady (ranked 4480 p4p, 174 weight class). Riverson's entrance music is J.Ralph - Kansas City Shuffle. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Baron Brady was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riverson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Brady to the mat! Brady manages to get full guard.

Riverson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Riverson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Riverson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Riverson has gone for a leg lock! Brady slips out almost immediately though and dives into Riverson's guard.

Brady tries to free his leg and advance position but Riverson is retaining full guard.

Riverson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brady is aware though and is defending well.
Brady stays in close to Riverson's body and controls the position.

Riverson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Brady defends well.
Brady wants to pass the guard but Riverson is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Riverson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Brady defends it easily.

Riverson is looking for a triangle but Brady pushes his legs off easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brady keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Riverson's head.

Riverson is looking to cinch up a triangle. Brady throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Riverson's body to avoid the submission. Riverson has instead reached around Brady's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Riverson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
