Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruben Saiz (ranked 3894 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathaniel Dormier (ranked 6797 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saiz throws a poor cross that misses

and Dormier counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Saiz!
Saiz tries to buck Dormier off but Dormier is having none of it.
A lull in the action here as Dormier stalls from top position.
Dormier creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Saiz sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Dormier decides to stand back up.
Saiz lands with a good body shot.
Saiz closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Saiz lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Saiz misses with a few strikes there.
Dormier doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Saiz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dormier throws a sloppy head kick and Saiz moves out of range easily.

Dormier tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Saiz is looking for a counter combo.
Saiz lands the left hand.

Dormier closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Saiz to the mat! Saiz manages to get full guard.
Dormier looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Dormier wants to pass the guard but Saiz is keeping the position.

Dormier seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

A lazy left from Saiz finds it's target.
Saiz jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Saiz slips a jab and a cross from Dormier.
An attempted straight right counter from Saiz misses the target.
Dormier shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Ruben Saiz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dormier misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Dormier manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Saiz on his heels. He'll look to pass Saiz's guard now, I'm sure.
Dormier looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Dormier is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Saiz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dormier is one step ahead there.

Dormier gets to his feet. Saiz looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Saiz lands a really nice looking cross but Dormier seems unphased.
Saiz is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Saiz connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dormier momentarily.

It looks like Nathaniel Dormier has been cut.

Dormier glances at the clock... BAM! Saiz nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Dormier crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Dormier is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
