The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson misses with a takedown
and Gallagher counters with a right hand to the body.
Gallagher cracks the inside of Patterson's front leg.

and Patterson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Patterson wants to control from the top but Gallagher keeps moving.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
