Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between DBrickashaw Stevens (ranked 18529 p4p, 248 weight class) and Takamura Mamoru (ranked 4438 p4p, 181 weight class). Mamoru has chosen The Great Takamura as his entrance music. DBrickashaw Stevens has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mamoru lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Stevens has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Stevens and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Mamoru lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Mamoru. That's going to slow Stevens down.
Stevens ducks under a wild hook from Mamoru.
Stevens fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mamoru looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Stevens fails to land with a series of punches.
Mamoru keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stevens throws a head kick that misses.
Mamoru avoids the body shot from Stevens.
Stevens swings widly with a right hand
letting Mamoru counter with a right hand.
Stevens misses with a wild body shot.
Stevens gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Mamoru bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Stevens's head backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stevens slips a straight right by Mamoru.
Stevens has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Stark Combat Center in the buildup to the fight.
Mamoru avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Stevens misses with a double jab.
Stevens is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mamoru.
Stevens dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Stevens catches Mamoru with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Stevens misses with an uppercut. Mamoru saw that one coming.

Stevens swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mamoru counters with a nice uppercut.
Mamoru waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Stevens.
Jab, jab by Stevens - just one landing.
Stevens lands a nice hook to Mamoru's body. Mamoru takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
DBrickashaw Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Stevens throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Stevens ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mamoru moves away.
And Mamoru responds with a good body kick, but Stevens manages to step out the way in time.
Stevens lands with an uppercut that bounces Mamoru off the ropes and back into range.
Mamoru looks to land a right hand but Stevens moved out of range.
Stevens is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Stevens fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mamoru manages to avoid it.
Stevens takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Mamoru lands a head shot.
Stevens thows a body kick. Mamoru tries to catch it but that hurt him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stevens throws a looping overhand right but Mamoru ducks down to avoid it.
Stevens tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mamoru lands a nice looking kick to the body. Stevens takes a step back to recover.
Stevens scores with a jab.

A telegraphed right hand from Stevens misses the target.
Stevens pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stevens misses with a body punch
and Mamoru connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Stevens misses the shot to the body.
Mamoru tries to score with a low kick but Stevens moves his leg out of the way.
Mamoru uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stevens.
A combination from Mamoru does no damage.
Mamoru takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Mamoru turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Stevens walks into a left hand.
Stevens misses with a wild body shot.
Mamoru misses with a looping left.
Stevens throws a jab when Mamoru was well out of range.
Mamoru scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Mamoru moves out of range as Stevens strikes.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mamoru.
Stevens moves out of range of the body kick from Mamoru.

Stevens throws a leg kick that is checked
and Mamoru counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mamoru dodges the punch combination from Stevens.
Stevens bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mamoru catches Stevens napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Stevens crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! Mamoru raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!
