The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thatcher shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Seppala defends it nicely.
Thatcher shoots in for a double leg but Seppala sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A shot to the liver by Seppala. Beautiful body shot.
Seppala lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Seppala fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Thatcher looks for a takedown but Seppala sprawls well.
Henkka Seppala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Thatcher.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thatcher dodges the punch combination from Seppala.
Seppala cracks Thatcher with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
