Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sake Chu (ranked 5884 p4p, 202 weight class) and Edward Beerhands (ranked 1977 p4p, 70 weight class). Chu's entrance music is Daughtry - Renegade. A fine choice. Beerhands comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Drinkin' kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Sake Chu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edward Beerhands!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chu throws a looping overhand right but Beerhands ducks down to avoid it.
Beerhands wants to counter the offense by Chu and move into the clinch position.
Chu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Chu lands a nice hook to Beerhands's body. Beerhands takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Chu feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Beerhands sprawling to the canvas! Beerhands rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Chu finish him?!

Chu got a little sloppy there for a moment and Beerhands has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chu has managed to get both his arms back between Beerhands's legs - danger averted.

Chu lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Beerhands can do anything to dispel that myth.
Chu is really struggling to control Beerhands but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Chu has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Chu's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
