The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Stark.
Stark staying out of range there.
Stark fails to land with a series of punches.
Stark throws a head kick that misses.
Puno with a jab.
Puno connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Puno takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Stark gets in close and instigates a clinch.
We've been informed that Stark has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Puno misses with a body punch.
Stark tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Puno digs a right hand underneath Stark's ribcage. Stark let out a lung full of air as it connected.
A nice left hand lands by Puno.
Puno lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Puno can't find room to land a body shot as Stark controls the action.

Stark seems to have recovered his senses.
Puno pushes Stark back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Puno goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
We've been hearing reports that Puno has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Stark misses with a hook to the ribs.
Puno lands a left hand that snaps the head of Stark backwards.
Puno swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Puno lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Stark drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Puno gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Stark jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Puno walks away with a smile on his face. Stark gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Stark takes one to the chin there.
Puno throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stark sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Puno manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stark on his heels. He'll look to pass Stark's guard now, I'm sure.

Puno scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Puno is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Stark has momentary wrist control but Puno slips an elbow through the middle.

Stark seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stark is on top in guard.

Puno bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stark's guard.

Stark is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Puno keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Stark's head.

Stark looking for a triangle here. Puno is fighting it but it looks tight! Stark pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Puno is tapping out - this one is all over!
