Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Howard Stern (ranked 2686 p4p, 368 weight class) and James Jordon (ranked 3323 p4p, 429 weight class). Stern comes to the cage accompanied by The Great American Nightmare. Jordon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sticky Icky kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Jordon!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordon misses with a wild body shot.
Jordon throws a jab when Stern was well out of range.
Stern connects with a single shot there.
Stern comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Stern has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Stern misses with an uppercut. Jordon saw that one coming.
Jordon walks into a jab.
Jordon lands with a hook. Stern tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Stern throws a big shot that misses.
Jordon misses with a low kick.
A left lands for Stern.
A shot to the liver by Jordon. Beautiful body shot.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Stern, right into the meat.
Stern throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jordon was covering up waiting for the punch and Stern finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stern wants to control from the top but Jordon keeps moving.
Jordon pulls Stern in close to his closed guard and prevents Stern from doing any damage or advancing position.
Stern is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Stern got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jordon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stern has managed to get both his arms back between Jordon's legs - danger averted.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stern accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stern cracks Jordon with a solid left hand.

James Jordon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stern throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stern thows a left - swing and a miss!
Stern wants to clinch
and Jordon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jordon swings for the body but Stern moves out of range.
A lazy left from Jordon finds it's target.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jordon catches Stern with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jordon lands a nice shot to the body.
Jordon scores with a body shot.
Stern throws the left hand but Jordon avoids the punch easily.
And Jordon tries to counter it with a takedown but Stern pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Jordon throws a body shot but no joy.
Stern throws a hook to the side of Jordon's head but Jordon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Stern fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jordon changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Jordon lands a head shot.
A swing and a miss from Stern.
Stern slips a straight right by Jordon.
Jordon checks a low kick from Stern.
Stern lands a jab to the nose.
Stern tries to clinch but Jordon moves out of range.
Stern swings widly with a right hand
and Jordon makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Stern swats away the attempt to clinch by Jordon.
Jordon moves into the clinch successfully.
Jordon tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stern is looking to break free of the clinch but Jordon has double underhooks.
Stern escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
That kick from Jordon tenderised Stern's leg. Stern is trying to keep his angry face on.
Stern slips a straight right by Jordon.
Jordon takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Stern missing with a left hand there. Jordon was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jordon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Stern.
Stern on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Stern misses with a hook.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jordon! But no joy.
Stern takes a jab right on the kisser.
Stern needs to keep his hands up - Jordon had a free shot at his head there.
Stern takes one to the chin there.
Stern pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Stern scores with a jab.
Howard Stern seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice defenses there by Stern.
Stern was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Stern misses with the combination.
Jordon throws a body shot but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but James Jordon will probably get the nod.

Jordon looks to land a right hand but Stern moved out of range.
Stern avoids the body shot from Jordon.
Jordon defending well as Stern loads up on a big left hand.
Jordon connects with a solid leg kick.
Stern misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jordon doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Stern connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jordon. Jordon circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jordon rushes Stern and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Stern escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jordon blocks a jab.
A slow jab from Jordon misses its intended target.
Jordon throws a low kick but it's checked well by Stern.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stern throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stern throws a poor cross that misses
and Jordon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stern's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stern keeping moving, preventing Jordon from controlling successfully.
Jordon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Stern looking for a guillotine here but Jordon defends easily.
Jordon throws a big right hand that misses.
Stern is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Jordon tries to get to full guard but Stern has control of the leg.
Jordon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Stern's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Stern's back!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jordon is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Stern knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Stern for a finish.
Jordon sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Stern taps out!

After winning the bout, James Jordon thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Howard Stern was interviewed post fight and said 'I blame Robin and those big G's.'.
