Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Black (ranked 194 p4p, 21 weight class) and Conrad Hauser (ranked 439 p4p, 44 weight class). Black comes to the cage accompanied by Manu Chao - Mr. Bobby. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black lands a glancing blow to the side of Hauser's head.

It looks like Conrad Hauser has been cut.

and Hauser makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Hauser rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Black moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Black takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hauser dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Black. That did some damage!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Black feints and as Hauser raises his hands in defense, Black changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Black is looking to advance position but Hauser has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Black can't escape the position.
Hauser wants to stand but Black is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hauser has hold of Black's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Black manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Black is looking to get to half guard.

Hauser wants to control but Black is keeping him busy.
Hauser is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hauser is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.

Black tries to lock up and control but Hauser gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Black is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Talu's Boxing Club, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Hauser wants to control the action but instead Black gets a body lock and reverses into Hauser's guard! Nice work!

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hauser! But no joy.
Hauser misses with a kick to the body.
Hauser shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Black eats them both and turns towards Hauser to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Black is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hauser.
Hauser bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Conrad Hauser seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Black throws a hook to the side of Hauser's head but Hauser sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hauser has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Black takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Black throws a shot from downtown. Hauser moves away and avoids it.

Hauser moves into range and connects with a jab.

Matt Black's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Hauser ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Black out cold! The fight is over!
