Ritter comes to the cage accompanied by Another one Bites the dust. Sylvester Ritter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alzado misses with a wild body shot.
Ritter dives in for a single leg takedown but Alzado sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Alzado stalks Ritter and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ritter's face. Ritter staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Sylvester Ritter has been cut.
Ritter avoids the body shot from Alzado.
Jab by Alzado.
A left and a right from Ritter both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Lyle Alzado has been cut.
Ritter misses with a straight right.
Alzado connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ritter. Ritter circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Ritter tries to clinch but Alzado moves out of range.
Alzado scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ritter doesn't seem bothered though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ritter shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Alzado counter with a right hand.
Alzado misses with a few strikes there.
Alzado closes the distance but Ritter moves to the side
and Ritter counters with a nice uppercut.
Alzado scores with a hook.

Alzado waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Ritter. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Ritter to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Ritter is rocked!
Alzado loads up on a big left hand. Ritter felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Alzado looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Ritter can't hide his disappointment, as Alzado celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lyle Alzado!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Lyle Alzado waved his t-shirt featuring Zenith Nutrition (160q/$200)'s logo in front of the cameras.
Sylvester Ritter spoke after the fight, saying 'To all the young kids out there... Its not the failures that define who you are but how hard you bite back once you get up.'.
