The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powell loads up on a big right hand but Lothbrok slips the punch.
Lothbrok ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lothbrok has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lothbrok displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Lothbrok walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Powell needs to keep his hands up - Lothbrok had a free shot at his head there.
Powell misses with a looping left.
Powell throws a hook but Lothbrok blocks it.

Powell has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Returning Pride in the buildup to the fight.
Powell throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lothbrok sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Powell looks to land a right hand but Lothbrok moved out of range.

Powell throws a shot from downtown. Lothbrok moves away and avoids it.
Powell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lothbrok drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Powell defends it well.
Lothbrok tries to work over Powell's front leg with a kick but Powell checks it.
Lothbrok connects with a leg kick. Powell looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Powell blocks a jab.
Bjorn Lothbrok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lothbrok lands with a shot to the body.

Lothbrok fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Powell avoids it really well and circles away.
Lothbrok throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lothbrok steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Powell.

Lothbrok swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Powell lands a nice hook to Lothbrok's body. Lothbrok takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Lothbrok takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Powell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lothbrok.

Bjorn Lothbrok decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
