Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arnold Palmer!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zamora misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Palmer misses with a jab, cross combination.

Zamora moves into the clinch.
Zamora tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Zamora is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Palmer pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Palmer misses with a hook from the clinch.
Palmer fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Zamora lands a left hand that snaps the head of Palmer backwards.

Zamora lands a hook to the side of the head.
Zamora changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Palmer fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Freddie Zamora. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zamora throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Palmer's waist but Palmer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zamora off to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Palmer takes a swing at Zamora's ribcage but misses.
Arnold Palmer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've been hearing reports that Zamora has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Palmer is in trouble now - Zamora has advanced to mount!
