Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joy Rones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ander Silva!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rones to the mat! Rones manages to get full guard.
Rones looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Silva stopping the sweep attempt from Rones.
Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Rones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Rones has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Silva is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Silva looking to throw knees to the head but Rones is blocking nicely.

Rones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Silva has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Rones is landing a low percentage of strikes.

and Rones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Ander Silva has been cut.
Rones circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rones throwing a counter right hand but Silva manages to avoid it.
Rones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silva manages to avoid it.
Rones definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A lazy left from Rones finds it's target.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rones misses the shot to the body.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt - Rones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rones looks to throw the jab but Silva is out of range.
Rones has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Silva finds it's way round the side to connect with Rones's head.
Silva shoots and misses
and Rones counters with a left to the body.
Joy Rones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ander Silva.
Rones scores with a sloppy right hand. Silva should have avoided that one.

Silva is rocked!
Silva glances at the clock... BAM! Rones nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Silva crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Silva is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
