Fauchelevent kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rue des Cascades. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breneman gets caught napping as Fauchelevent dives in and scores a takedown. Breneman manages to retain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fauchelevent stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Breneman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Breneman tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fauchelevent won't allow Breneman to get back to his feet.
Fauchelevent not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Fauchelevent passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Fauchelevent is looking for a kimura but Breneman is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fauchelevent to get the leverage.
Fauchelevent blocks the strikes from Breneman.

Breneman tries to roll over but Fauchelevent keeps him under control.
