Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Villarreal (ranked 22867 p4p, 0 weight class) and CJ Ray (ranked 4704 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray has chosen Indestructable - Disturbed as his entrance music. Ray has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Ray both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Bruno Villarreal has been cut.

Villarreal closes the distance and pushes Ray back into the cage.
Villarreal jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ray walks away with a smile on his face. Villarreal gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Villarreal throws a right hand that Ray ducks under and follows up with a left that Ray also avoids with ease.
Ray throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Villarreal swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Ray swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Villarreal counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Villarreal.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Villarreal bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ray's guard.
Villarreal decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Villarreal lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ray circles away quickly and effectively.
Ray shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Villarreal has one foot on Ray's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
