Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robby Talley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Dukes!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dukes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Talley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Talley is looking for a sweep.

Dukes is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Talley knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Talley is looking for a sweep.
Dukes throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Dukes with the ground and pound but Talley regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Talley moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Talley could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dukes is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dukes trying to control but Talley is working from the bottom.
Dukes throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Dukes working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Talley's head.
Talley tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Talley wants to get back to his feet but Dukes is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Talley lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dukes striking off his back but it's not causing Talley any problems.
Talley prevents Dukes from getting back to his feet.

Dukes looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Talley passes into side control.

Talley stands up.
Dukes throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Talley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Dukes clinches up with Talley and pushes him back against the cage.
Dukes lands a shoulder strike.
Dukes tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Dukes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dukes throws a right hand that Talley ducks under and follows up with a left that Talley also avoids with ease.

Dukes drives through and clinches with Talley against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dukes is trying to break the clinch but Talley has him pressed against the cage.

Dukes successfully pulls guard.
Talley is looking to stand up but Dukes won't let him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dukes is trying to keep Talley in close.
Dukes looks winded!
Dukes looking to control but Talley passes into half guard.
Talley working Dukes over with strikes.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dukes scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Talley manages to mount him!
Dukes sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Talley is nestled in close to Dukes, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dukes on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Dukes is trying to escape back to his feet but Talley uses the scramble to pass into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but David Dukes will probably get the nod.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Dukes has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Talley is struggling to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dukes pulls guard successfully.
Talley would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Talley working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Talley gets to his feet - Dukes follows without any prompting.
Dukes throws a nice looking combination but Talley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A telegraphed right hand from Dukes misses the target.
As Dukes looks to move away, Talley throws a big counter combo but Dukes just gets out of the way.

Talley pushes Dukes up against the cage in a clinch.

Talley tightens his grip and picks Dukes up, before dumping him to the ground. Dukes manages to land in guard.
Dukes wants to get back to his feet but Talley passes into half guard.

Talley is nestled in close to Dukes, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Talley decides to stand up.

Dukes tries to keep at a distance but Talley has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dukes is trying to break free.
A frustrated look appears on Dukes's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Talley is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Dukes can't fight it off and eventually Talley manages to take the fight to the floor. Dukes looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dukes wants to control but Talley passes easily into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Talley lands strikes from half guard.

Talley decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Dukes is breathing heavily.
Dukes misses with a series of wild punches.

Dukes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Talley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dukes's guard.


That's four minutes gone in the round.
Talley wants to get up but he can't break Dukes's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Dukes looking to control but Talley passes into half guard.
Dukes is looking to escape.
Talley scoring with strikes to the body and head.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Talley lands a nice short elbow.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dukes wants to sweep but Talley has passed to side control!

Talley tries for a kimura but Dukes is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robby Talley dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!



Talley fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dukes to the ground. Talley is now in Dukes's guard.
Dukes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Talley is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Talley gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Dukes pushes Talley up against the cage in a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Talley is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Dukes gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Talley is working for takedown but Dukes is calmly controlling the position for now.

Dukes pulls Talley into guard.
Dukes throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Dukes takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Talley preventing the sweep.
Talley working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Talley wants to stand but Dukes is controlling his posture from full guard.
Talley is in close to Dukes's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Talley wants to stand but Dukes has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Robby Talley overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Talley stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dukes is looking to get back to full guard here but Talley has managed to pass to side control instead.

Dukes bucks up and tries to throw Talley off but instead Talley has got his back!
Dukes is trying to stand back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Talley lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Dukes hold on?!

And that's the end of the fight!
Robby Talley showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Talley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
