The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pencil wants to land a leg kick but Kobashi is out of range.

Pencil ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kobashi throws a nice looking combination but Pencil bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kobashi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kobashi shoots in looking for a takedown. Pencil tries to sprawl out of it but Kobashi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pencil manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kobashi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Pencil has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Pencil and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Kobashi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Pencil closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Kobashi! Pencil dives in looking to finish! Kobashi is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Jumping up and down and very excited, Wooden Pencil waved his t-shirt featuring Spartan Nutrition's logo in front of the cameras.
In defeat, Kenta Kobashi stepped up to the mic, saying 'My spirit flows like a tin can down a river'.
