And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Felix Legions!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Legions was well out of range. Poor timing from Pearson.
Legions changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Legions connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Johnny Pearson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Legions looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
We've been told by Pearson's head coaches at Midnight MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Legions avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Legions! But no joy.
Legions moves out of range of the strikes.
Legions lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Legions lands with a kick to the ribs.
Legions misses with a hook
and Pearson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pearson lands a front kick.
Legions takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Pearson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Legions doesn't seem bothered though.
Pearson throws a body punch but Legions moves out of range.
Pearson misses with a body shot.
Legions throws the kick towards the body but Pearson avoids it.
Pearson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Legions's sensitive parts.
We've been informed that Legions has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pearson scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Legions looks to land a body kick but Pearson moved away.
Pearson thuds his shin into the meat of Legions's side.
Good leg kick by Pearson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Pearson throws a front kick that sends Legions stumbling back into the cage.
Pearson misses with an uppercut
and Legions counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Pearson is rocked!
Pearson gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Legions gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Felix Legions!
A very excited looking Felix Legions rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
