Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Beast Boy (ranked 78 p4p, 8 weight class) and Big Guns (ranked 20 p4p, 2 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guns avoids the body shot from Boy.
A looping hook to the body misses from Guns. Boy does a little dance to reset his feet.
Boy looks to score with a jab to the body but Guns is just out of range.
Guns misses with a hook
and Boy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Guns comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Boy avoids the body shot from Guns.
An inside leg kick lands from Guns.
Guns scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Guns fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Boy has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Guns moves into range and clinches up with Boy.
Boy tries to land knees in the clinch but Guns avoids the damage to the body.
Guns misses with some punches.
Guns lands a damaging elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Guns misses with a short punch on the inside.
Boy misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Guns.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Guns obliges.
Guns avoiding damage.

Guns manages to break the clinch.
Guns cracks the inside of Boy's front leg.
Boy blocks a low kick nicely.
An attempted straight right counter from Boy misses the target.
Boy seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Boy ducks under a wild hook from Guns.
Guns throws a leg kick which misses Boy's front leg but catches the back leg as Boy tries to avoid it.
Guns misses with an uppercut.

Guns fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Boy, pushing him back against the cage.
Guns throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Guns breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A looping hook to the body misses from Boy. Guns does a little dance to reset his feet.
Boy swats away the attempt to clinch by Guns.

A punch combination from Guns misses.
Boy lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Boy slips under a jab.
Guns thows a leg kick but Boy checks it
and Boy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Guns connects with an inside leg kick.
Boy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Boy takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Good exchange - Boy coming out on top.
The crowd cheers as Boy lands an impressive looking overhand right. Guns doesn't seem phased though.
Boy wants to land a leg kick but Guns is out of range.
Guns scores with a jab.
Boy misses with an uppercut
and Guns counters with a straight right hand.
Guns just misses with a punch to the body.
Boy misses with a body shot.
Guns jabs Boy to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Guns scores with a sloppy right hand. Boy should have avoided that one.

Boy is rocked!
Guns closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Boy out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Big Guns! Big Guns retains his middleweight title!
During a confident post fight interview, Big Guns thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
