Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Tycoon (ranked 17645 p4p, 588 weight class) and Bong Ki Duk (ranked 7931 p4p, 537 weight class). Ki Duk has chosen north korea's national anthem as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ki Duk fails with an attempt to clinch.

We've been informed that Ki Duk has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Ki Duk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tycoon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
As Ki Duk looks to move away, Tycoon throws a big counter combo but Ki Duk just gets out of the way.
Ki Duk goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
