Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mihai Viteazul (ranked 2761 p4p, 356 weight class) and Loki Aoki (ranked 2285 p4p, 304 weight class). Viteazul comes to the cage accompanied by Capul lui Mihai Viteazul. Aoki has chosen KAANCEPTS as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Loki Aoki!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoki swinging wildly here.
Aoki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Viteazul walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Viteazul shoots in and drives through. Aoki sprawls well.
Aoki has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Viteazul is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Viteazul is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Aoki shapes to counter with a head kick.
Aoki pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Aoki misses with an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aoki throws a sloppy body shot
and Viteazul counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Aoki throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Viteazul's head.

It looks like Mihai Viteazul has been cut.
Viteazul showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Aoki.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Aoki throws a body punch but Viteazul moves out of range.

Viteazul has Aoki up against the cage in a clinch.
Viteazul has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Aoki avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Aoki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Viteazul tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Aoki defends well and Viteazul ends up having to push Aoki into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Aoki let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mihai Viteazul. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Aoki looks to land a combination but Viteazul avoids it well.

Aoki lands a big head kick that sends Viteazul tumbling to the mat! Aoki takes a step backwards and waves Viteazul back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Viteazul is rocked!
Viteazul wants to stay close but Aoki steps back to make room for something. Viteazul seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Aoki and Viteazul drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Loki Aoki!
Loki Aoki decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
