The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacFarlane scores with a decent looking hook.
MacFarlane has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
BK lands a nice shot that snaps MacFarlane's head back.
MacFarlane throws a hook but BK blocks it.
MacFarlane tries to clinch up but BK circles away and keeps his distance.
MacFarlane moves out of range as BK strikes.
An attempted straight right counter from MacFarlane misses the target.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from MacFarlane lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and BK has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from BK and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Good leg kick by MacFarlane there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

MacFarlane swings away with a leg kick that misses.
MacFarlane throws a chopping leg kick but BK manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
BK's jab looks to have found its range, popping MacFarlane under the eye.
BK throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rian MacFarlane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
MacFarlane throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Benjamin BK has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
BK just misses with a punch to the body.
A slow jab from MacFarlane misses its intended target.
BK chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before MacFarlane can pounce on him.
BK misses with a body shot.
MacFarlane avoids the body shot from BK.

BK drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
BK cracks MacFarlane with a solid left hand.
MacFarlane is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
BK connects with a couple of short punches.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
MacFarlane pulls BK in close to prevent any damage.
MacFarlane wants to sweep here but BK controlling him for the moment.
BK trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
BK throwing strikes but missing.
BK connects with a couple of short punches.
BK with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

MacFarlane is rocked!

BK gets to his feet and stands over MacFarlane, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! MacFarlane felt that one! BK unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save MacFarlane from any more punishment!

Rian MacFarlane was interviewed post fight and said 'Sorry guys everything is still fuzzy... but I think he tapped out... so it is what it is... who am I again?'.
