Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Greg House!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jazz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. House sprawls well initially but Jazz persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Jazz missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Jazz working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

House looking for submissions off his back.

Jazz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so House is just riding it out for now. Jazz eventually gives up the hold.
House is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jazz's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jazz's back!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

House is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Jazz is defending well though. House let's go of the attempt for now.

House is trying to stick to Jazz's back but Jazz is turning into House. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in House's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Jazz.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now House is on top in guard.

House pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jazz is keeping the position for now.

Jazz looking for a guillotine here but House defends easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
House advances to half guard.

House is looking for a kimura here.
House passes the guard and advances to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
House wants to control the pace but Jazz is squirming around nicely.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

House tries to control but Jazz wriggling away.

House wants to finish this one by submission but Jazz is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from House.
This has been an exciting period of action!

House looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Jazz is controlling an arm, preventing House from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
House tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Jazz sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

House is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

House in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Jazz tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from House!
