Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chief Foot (ranked 1761 p4p, 191 weight class) and Shazaam McDaniels (ranked 2328 p4p, 239 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shazaam McDaniels!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Foot, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As Foot backs off McDaniels throws a huge counter combo but Foot manages to avoid it all.
Foot looks to throw the jab but McDaniels is out of range.
Despite the aggression on McDaniels's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
McDaniels takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Foot rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McDaniels connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
McDaniels moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Chief Foot has been cut.
Foot moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Foot throws a hook but McDaniels blocks it.
Foot fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A countering left hand to the body from McDaniels misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice defenses there by Foot.
Foot looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Foot throws a jab but it's blocked by McDaniels.
Foot lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks McDaniels out cold! McDaniels is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
