Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leo Leka (ranked 1820 p4p, 221 weight class) and Brother Firetribe (ranked 2498 p4p, 291 weight class). Leka kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is For Heavy Metal we will die!. Leo Leka has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Firetribe slips under a jab.
Firetribe feints a counter leg kick.
A lazy left from Leka finds it's target.
Leka checks a low kick from Firetribe.
Firetribe's coach down at Pablo's Boxing Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Firetribe's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Leka connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Firetribe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Leka.
Firetribe throws a nice outside leg kick.
Firetribe avoids a kick to the body.
Firetribe misses with a double jab.

Firetribe unleashes a big counter combination but Leka bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

That kick from Leka tenderised Firetribe's leg. Firetribe is trying to keep his angry face on.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Leka checks a leg kick.

Firetribe fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Leka.

Leka thows a body kick. Firetribe tries to catch it but that hurt him.
No joy there for Leka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Firetribe wants to counter the offense by Leka and move into the clinch position.
Leka lands with an uppercut that bounces Firetribe off the cage and back into range.

Firetribe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Leka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Leka cracks Firetribe with a solid left hand.
Leka stands up over Firetribe, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Firetribe is rocked!
Leka postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Firetribe is still in real trouble! Can Leka finish him?

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Leka lands a hook that stumbles Firetribe back into the cage. Leka follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Firetribe to the canvas! Leka pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Firetribe has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Leo Leka decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
