Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Mccray (ranked 5425 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Kane (ranked 5453 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Hugh Johnson and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane misses with a head kick.
Mccray throwing a counter right hand but Kane manages to avoid it.

Mccray could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

As Kane looks to move away, Mccray throws a big counter combo but Kane just gets out of the way.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mccray closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kane to the mat! Kane manages to get full guard.
Kane is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Mccray dives into side control.
You can see the frustration on Kane's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Kane blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Kane shoots for a takedown but Mccray saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Kane stalks Mccray and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mccray's face. Mccray staggers backwards, shaken.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Kane manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Kane throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mccray tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kane is in Mccray's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mccray is trying to control the position but Kane postures up.
Mccray has control of Kane's left arm, preventing Kane from doing any damage.
Kane must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
