The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan scores with a jab. Sloane acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

It looks like Kurt Sloane has been cut.

Khan gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sloane to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Sloane throws an elbow that misses. Khan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sloane's guard. Nice move by Khan!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sloane is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Khan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A big strike lands for Khan! That's really hurt Sloane and he's turned his back - Khan keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Khan jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
