The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neuer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Asmundsen throws out a leg kick but Neuer moves out of range and Asmundsen only half commits.
Asmundsen has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Neuer is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Asmundsen throws the left hand but Neuer avoids the punch easily.
Neuer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Asmundsen throws out the jab.
Neuer tries to counter with a takedown but Asmundsen is quick to defend against it.
Neuer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A looping hook to the body misses from Asmundsen. Neuer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Asmundsen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Neuer was well out of range. Poor timing from Asmundsen.
Neuer appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Asmundsen throws an overhand right that lands on Neuer's shoulder, as Neuer tries to avoid the shot.
Neuer shoots in looking for a takedown but Asmundsen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Neuer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
