The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Davis avoids the head kick by Sakovich.
Davis connects with a single shot there.
Davis lands with a shot to the body.
Davis cracks a nice hook into Sakovich's ribs.
A lazy left from Davis finds it's target.
Sakovich fails in his attempt to clinch.
Davis uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sakovich has time to react.

Sakovich tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Davis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sakovich takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Despite the aggression on Sakovich's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Davis scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Davis swings for the body but Sakovich moves out of range.
Sakovich's coach down at Rabid Reindeer Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sakovich's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Sakovich takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Davis lands a lovely overhand right.

Sakovich drives through and clinches with Davis against the cage.

Sakovich breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Sakovich gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Davis ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Davis steps in with a hook that catches Sakovich right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Davis follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Sakovich looks absolutely devastated.
