PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Lethal (ranked 740 p4p, 99 weight class) and Blue Cup (ranked 863 p4p, 112 weight class). Lethal comes into the arena with we're off to see the wizard blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cup moves in looking to clinch but Lethal pushes him off.
Cup misses with a body shot.
A swing and a miss from Lethal.
Lethal swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cup.
Cup takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Cup takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Lethal looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cup tries to bum rush Lethal with a series of wild strikes but Lethal uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cup connects with a right hand. Lethal shakes it off.
Lethal moves away from the strike by Cup.
Lethal lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Cup throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cup looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Cup throws a lazy uppercut
letting Lethal counter with a right hand.
Cup throws a poor cross that misses
and Lethal cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cup throws a shot from downtown. Lethal moves away and avoids it.
Lethal throwing a counter right hand but Cup manages to avoid it.
A jab lands there for Lethal.
Cup takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Cup is rocked!
Lethal drops Cup with a big left hand! Cup is injured, injured bad! Lethal jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

A relieved looking Matt Lethal thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
