The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentine tests Dela Rosa's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Dela Rosa dodges the punch combination from Valentine.
Valentine gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Valentine connects with a nasty looking knee right to Dela Rosa's face.
It looks like Ronald Dela Rosa has been cut.
Valentine drops Dela Rosa with a big knee straight up the middle! Dela Rosa is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Dela Rosa is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Valentine closes the distance and clinches.
Oh Dela Rosa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dela Rosa is pressed against the cage. Valentine pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Dela Rosa! Two more big strikes from Valentine and Dela Rosa crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!

Corwin Valentine decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
