Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Semenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

31 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gerry Kelly!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly misses with a series of wild punches.
Kelly attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Semenko lands a nice hook to Kelly's body. Kelly takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A lazy body kick from Kelly
and Semenko counters with a straight right hand.
Gerry Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
An inside leg kick lands from Semenko.
Semenko has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Guerrilla MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Kelly chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Semenko can pounce on him.
A chopping leg kick lands by Semenko.
Kelly jabs Semenko to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kelly dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Semenko stuffs the takedown attempt from Kelly. Kelly gets slowly back to his feet.
Kelly pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kelly misses with a takedown attempt
and Semenko counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Semenko lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kelly throws a chopping leg kick but Semenko manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Semenko keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And Semenko counters with a quick kick to the body but Kelly blocks it.
Semenko turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kelly thows a left - swing and a miss!
Semenko half committed to a counter leg kick.
Semenko defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kelly.
Dave Semenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gerry Kelly.
Kelly blocks a head kick by Semenko.
Kelly shoots and misses
and Semenko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A clash of legs there as Kelly blocks the low kick.
Kelly scores with a nice head shot.
Kelly throws a body punch but Semenko moves out of range.
Semenko avoids the head kick by Kelly.
Dave Semenko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Semenko lands a high kick!
Semenko connects with a solid leg kick.
Kelly shoots in looking for a takedown but Semenko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kelly's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Semenko was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Kelly throws a lazy body kick
and Semenko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jab, jab by Kelly - just one landing.
Kelly will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kelly closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Semenko's guard.
Kelly gets to his feet. Semenko looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Kelly shoots and misses
enabling Semenko to counter with a crisp jab.
Kelly walks into a jab.
Semenko feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kelly sprawling to the canvas! Kelly rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Semenko finish him?!
Kelly is rocked!
Kelly is aggressively charging in as Semenko backs up avoiding any damage. Semenko tosses out a jab and Kelly runs right into it face first! Kelly is out cold! Semenko dropped down on all fours and is barking in Kelly's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dave Semenko!
A relieved looking Dave Semenko thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
