The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Anderson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Holgersson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Anderson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Holgersson is in Anderson's guard.
Holgersson is looking to work some ground and pound but Anderson has wrist control.
Holgersson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Holgersson has gone for a leg lock! Anderson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Holgersson's guard.

Holgersson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Anderson escapes and throws Holgersson's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Anderson is looking to take a break and control but Holgersson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Holgersson is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Big Price MMA, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Anderson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Anderson drops Holgersson with a huge uppercut! Holgersson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Anderson is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

A very excited looking Sparky Anderson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
