The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Druther lands a nice hook to Wayne's body. Wayne takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wayne misses with a leg kick

and Druther counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Wayne!
Wayne is not content to let Druther control the position.

Druther creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Wayne sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Druther works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Wayne tries to buck Druther off but Druther is having none of it.

Druther in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Druther cracks Wayne with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Druther immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Wayne is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Druther!
