Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Superbon TeppenGym (ranked 5850 p4p, 368 weight class) and Rich Zaiou (ranked 4313 p4p, 315 weight class). Zaiou has chosen Plug Walk - Rich The Kid as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rich Zaiou!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
TeppenGym tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Zaiou makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Zaiou is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in TeppenGym's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zaiou stops TeppenGym from getting back to his feet.
Zaiou seems to be looking for submissions.
Zaiou is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

TeppenGym is looking to get back to is feet but Zaiou passes into side control.
Zaiou in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Zaiou moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Zaiou has an Americana. TeppenGym didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Zaiou is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Zaiou hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Rich Zaiou!
In his post fight interview, Rich Zaiou started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
