Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jan Jedrzejczyk (ranked 2045 p4p, 239 weight class) and Bobby Bianchi (ranked 2029 p4p, 237 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jan Jedrzejczyk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bobby Bianchi!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bianchi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jedrzejczyk lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Bianchi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jedrzejczyk tries to avoid it but Bianchi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jedrzejczyk to the ground. Jedrzejczyk escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bianchi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Jedrzejczyk manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Bianchi keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Jedrzejczyk swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Jedrzejczyk might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Jedrzejczyk got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bianchi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jedrzejczyk has managed to get both his arms back between Bianchi's legs - danger averted.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bianchi has an Americana. Jedrzejczyk didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bianchi is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bianchi hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

During a confident post fight interview, Bobby Bianchi thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
