Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bastyn Dall (ranked 114 p4p, 5 weight class) and Johnny Pearson (ranked 389 p4p, 16 weight class). Dall comes to the cage accompanied by Beast. Bastyn Dall could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Johnny Pearson's chin.

Dall swings around for an armbar but Pearson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dall's guard.

Pearson gets to his feet - Dall follows without any prompting.
Dall lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pearson circles away quickly and effectively.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dall crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pearson - the referee stops the clock and Dall gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pearson. Dall manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Dall connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Dall walks forward, straight into a front kick from Pearson.
Pearson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Dall throws a leg kick but Pearson sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Dall moves away from the strike by Pearson.

Pearson is trying to escape back to his feet but Dall uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Pearson sneaks out the side door and pushes Dall away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Dall cracks Pearson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

The fighters circling - Pearson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dall ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Pearson throws a hook but Dall avoids it easily.
Pearson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Dall is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pearson.
Pearson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dall stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dall defending well as Pearson loads up on a big left hand.
Pearson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dall connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pearson scrambles back to his feet.
Dall shoots in for a takedown but Pearson shows good takedown defense.
Dall sets himself, and Pearson steps forward looking for the clinch! Dall avoids it this time.

Dall throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Pearson throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Dall counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Pearson throws a body punch but Dall moves out of range.
Pearson throws a shot from downtown. Dall moves away and avoids it.
Dall feinted with a counter takedown.
Pearson misses with a low kick as Dall jumps back.
Dall avoids a kick to the body.
Dall appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Dall fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bastyn Dall. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pearson throws an overhand right that lands on Dall's shoulder, as Dall tries to avoid the shot.

That kick from Pearson tenderised Dall's leg. Dall is trying to keep his angry face on.
Pearson feints a jab promting Dall to slip. Pearson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dall slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Dall scores with a jab. Pearson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Pearson enables Dall to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pearson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dall is standing up over Pearson. Pearson looks to escape but Dall dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pearson wants to get back to his feet but Dall is dominant here and he's now got Pearson's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dall is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Pearson has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Pearson is trying to stand. He's onto all fours with Dall on his back. Dall looks like he's slipping off but he's actually tansitioning to a beautiful armbar! Pearson has to tap out to a very impressive submission!
