The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Manfield has Perez up against the cage in a clinch.
Manfield is trying to break the clinch but Perez has him pressed against the cage.

Manfield gets to his feet. Perez looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Manfield wants to work for an arm triangle but Perez is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Perez has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Manfield is on him like a limpet, forcing Perez back against the cage.
