PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Comeon Hitme (ranked 1201 p4p, 192 weight class) and Top Heavy (ranked 2018 p4p, 302 weight class). Hitme comes to the cage accompanied by Face Fisted - Dethklok. On his way into the cage it seems that Comeon Hitme has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Comeon Hitme seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Top Heavy!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitme takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Hitme takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hitme fails to land with a series of punches.
Hitme scores with a kick to the midsection.
A decent looking cross lands there for Heavy.
Hitme dives in for a single leg takedown but Heavy sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Good exchange - Heavy coming out on top.

It looks like Comeon Hitme has been cut.
Hitme moves in looking to clinch but Heavy pushes him off.
Hitme misses with a few strikes there.
Heavy looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Hitme throws a right hand that Heavy ducks under and follows up with a left that Heavy also avoids with ease.

Hitme takes the fight into the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hitme has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Heavy after a bit of a struggle.
Hitme is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Heavy to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Comeon Hitme. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hitme goes for a takedown attempt but Heavy pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Hitme misses with a wild combination.
A little jabbing left from Heavy on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Heavy, as that shot connected.
Hitme on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Hitme is rocked!
Heavy ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Hitme out cold! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Top Heavy!
A relieved looking Top Heavy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
