The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rat goes for a double leg but Mueller avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mueller continues to drive forward.
Rat shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mueller sprawls well. Mueller wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rat gets slowly back to his feet.

Rat is standing up over Mueller. Mueller looks to escape but Rat dives into side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mueller is trying to control Rat's posture but Rat avoids it.

Rat is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mueller is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Rat lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mueller down.
Rat working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Mueller tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rat wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Mueller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rat on the ground.
Rat connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mueller some visible discomfort.

Rat is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mueller knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Rat cracks Mueller with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Rat immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Mueller is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Rat!
