Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manu Mikkonen (ranked 1315 p4p, 151 weight class) and Drederick Tatum (ranked 1341 p4p, 152 weight class). Mikkonen comes to the cage accompanied by When Worlds Collide. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Francis DeMontford and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatum looks to land a left hand but Mikkonen moved out of range nicely.
Tatum throws a body punch but Mikkonen moves out of range.
Mikkonen tries to land a leg kick but Tatum saw it coming and moves away.
A little jabbing left from Tatum on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Mikkonen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Tatum stuns Mikkonen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Tatum fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mikkonen manages to avoid it.

Tatum loads up on a big right hand but Mikkonen slips the punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tatum connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Mikkonen's hands.
Mikkonen throws a big shot that misses.

Tatum scores with a sloppy right hand. Mikkonen should have avoided that one.

Tatum works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Mikkonen is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Tatum just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Mikkonen has gone limp and this one is over!

A less than humble Drederick Tatum misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
In defeat, Manu Mikkonen stepped up to the mic, saying 'What the Fuck was that shit!?! I'm coming back and I will destroy all! Get that fucking mic out of my face!'.
