Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tobias Marshall (ranked 867 p4p, 95 weight class) and Brian Fantana (ranked 1397 p4p, 142 weight class). Tobias Marshall is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Marshall misses.
Fantana uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Marshall.
Fantana cracks Marshall with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Marshall's jab looks to have found its range, popping Fantana under the eye.
Marshall missing with a left hand there. Fantana was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Fantana lands a glancing blow to the side of Marshall's head.

Marshall has Fantana up against the cage in a clinch.

Fantana is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Marshall looking for a sweep. Not yet Marshall, not yet.
Marshall looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Fantana puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Fantana working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Marshall is refusing to be controlled, as Fantana sits in half guard.

Fantana is nestled in close to Marshall, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Fantana is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Marshall is just riding it out for now. Fantana eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Fantana is looking for a kimura but Marshall is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fantana to get the leverage.

Fantana uses his free foot to push down on Marshall's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Marshall.
Fantana wants to control the pace but Marshall is squirming around nicely.

Marshall bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Fantana has his foot on Marshall's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Marshall works his way back into a safe position though.

Marshall paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Fantana - great work!
