Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Turnbull (ranked 5021 p4p, 181 weight class) and Django Ripa (ranked 1602 p4p, 63 weight class). Ripa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. American Woman kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Robbie Turnbull is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Ripa.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ripa. Turnbull does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ripa misses with a shot to the body
and Turnbull counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Django Ripa has been cut.
Ripa misses with a looping right.
Ripa looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Turnbull misses with a hook. Ripa ducked under it nicely.
Turnbull fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The fighters circling - Ripa throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Turnbull moves out of range of the strikes.
Ripa misses with a wild body shot.
Turnbull throws a right and a left that Ripa avoids nicely.
Turnbull tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ripa was well out of range. Poor timing from Turnbull.

Ripa jabs Turnbull to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Turnbull looks to land a right hand but Ripa moved out of range.

Turnbull misses with a hook. Ripa ducked under it nicely.
Ripa looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Robbie Turnbull seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turnbull ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Turnbull thows a left - swing and a miss!
A countering left hand to the body from Ripa misses.
Ripa misses with a body shot
and Turnbull counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Turnbull definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Turnbull is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Turnbull thows a left - swing and a miss!
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ripa! But no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Turnbull scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Ripa has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Turnbull finds it's way round the side to connect with Ripa's head.
Ripa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Turnbull moves away.
Ripa's corner calls for a 1-2. Ripa obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Turnbull throws a nice looking combination but Ripa bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ripa looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Turnbull throws a poor cross that misses
and Ripa counters with a huge left! Turnbull is in big trouble! He's backing up but Ripa isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Turnbull from any more damage. A dominating finish by Ripa!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Django Ripa!
During a confident post fight interview, Django Ripa thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
