Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnson Mitchell (ranked 24581 p4p, 227 weight class) and Louie Matthews (ranked 3524 p4p, 141 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Mitchell throws a shot from downtown. Matthews moves away and avoids it.
Mitchell bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Mitchell has taken the fight to the clinch.
Matthews tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Mitchell - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Matthews ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Matthews no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Mitchell gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Matthews swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mitchell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Matthews.
Matthews bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mitchell's head backwards.

Oooh a lovely combination from Matthews sends Mitchell down but not out. Matthews dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Johnson Mitchell has been cut.

Matthews wants to control but Mitchell is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Matthews is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Mitchell is trying to buck Matthews off.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mitchell trying desperately to get to his feet.
Mitchell is squirming around, avoiding Matthews's attempts to control the action.
Matthews might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mitchell haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Mitchell is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Matthews is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Mitchell is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Mitchell flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Matthews anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Mitchell and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Matthews slips an arm under Mitchell chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Matthews has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Matthews is squeezing on Mitchell like an anaconda would it's prey. Mitchell fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
